Terry Lynn Estes

Terry Lynn Estes, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away April 26, 2021.  He was born in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Robert and Ollie Estes.  Terry began working as an electrician at the age of 17 and spent his life in that field, retiring at age 65.

In his free time, Terry enjoyed hunting, especially deer.  He never knew a stranger and was the embodiment of a wholesome southern man who always kept his word.  He had a rare and genuine soul and will always be remembered by his family for his zest for life.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia Estes; and son, Keith Schroder.  Terry is survived by his children, Ashley (Kyle Shick) Estes, Josephine Patten, Angie Patten, and Samantha (Joe) Patten; grandchildren, Aubrey Dotts, Krystal Gasper, Zalestial Carter, Jaylin Patten, Damien Patten, Lilly Estes and Freedom Patten; siblings, Janice (Phil) Maples, Patricia (Billy) Herron, Sharon O’Bannon, and Robert (Kay) Estes; several nieces and nephews; and his dear lifelong friends, Mark and Mike Fasel and family.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
