Suzanne (Stein) Clement

Suzanne Clement passed away on April 21, 2021 at the Barrington of Carmel.  She was born in Indianapolis to Harris and Florence (Light) Stein.  She was a graduate of Shortridge High School and attended Indiana University.  Susie married Richard “Dick” Clement on January 18, 1975.  They were married for 41 years.  Susie and Dick loved to travel spending many hours at their winter homes in Hawaii and California.

Everyone always knew where they stood with Susie by the list she kept by her phone.  Regardless if she remembered why she put you on the list, you knew you were in trouble.  She loved Broadway shows and recently took a bus tour to Branson, MO.  She enjoyed many shows, accompanied by friends, at the Palladium in Carmel.

Susie was strong-willed, and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  Her greatest passions by far were talking with, talking about, viewing photos of, and spending time with her children, grandchildren and their children.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents, and husband.  Susie is survived by her children, David (Ann) Perk and Beth (Ron) Savill; grandsons, Justin (Rachel) Farber, Brian Farber, Ryan Perk and Kevin Perk; and great-grandchildren, Anna and Leo Farber.  She is also survived by Dick’s four children, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family would like to offer heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Susie’s wonderful and loving caregivers at the Barrington of Carmel.

A private family graveside service will take place Friday, April 23, 2021.  The family will be gathering at David and Ann’s residence from 4 – 7 PM that evening.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charitable organization of the donor’s choice.
