Roger Dale Webb

Roger Dale Webb passed away on July 13, 2022 in Greencastle at the age of 62.  Roger was born October 6, 1959 in Beech Grove, Indiana to Lois M. Webb and Vernon Webb.

He attended IPS School #31 and Amo Elementary School.  Roger was a 1978 graduate of Cascade High School where he was involved in Track.

Roger worked at Hurco Manufacturing and Prairie Farms in Indianapolis.  He later worked for Fed Ex in both Indianapolis and Wasilla, Alaska.  Roger loved living in Alaska, he enjoyed fishing with his friends.

Roger didn't know a stranger, he was able to talk to anybody about anything. He impacted so many people in Alaska during his sobriety of almost 20 years. He remained friends with so many people he knew over the years while he was in Alaska and when he returned home to Indiana. They will remember his sense of humor and all the jokes he knew, stories he would tell that would make you laugh. He loved music and always sang along to whatever was playing because it made him happy and others as well. He will sadly be missed, but may he rest in peace.

He is survived by his sisters, Joan (Frank) Bray, Vicki Masterson and Verna Ryan; brother, Vernon “Scott” Webb; six nieces and nephews; and seven great-nieces and nephews.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents; and nephew, Kameron Smith.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Hadley Friends Church, 2100 S County Rd 450 W, Danville, IN 46122 on Saturday, July 30th at 2 PM.
