Linda Jean Metcalf, 75, of Noblesville, passed away September 23, 2022. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on October 20, 1946 to the late Thomas and Vashti Lippert. Linda studied at University of Louisville before meeting and marrying the love of her life, Gerald Metcalf. Before settling into the role of homemaker and raising her family, she held positions which capitalized on her detail-oriented nature such as a telephone operator and engineer draftsman.
During her married life, she lived in Houston, TX and Ashland, KY. Linda enjoyed crafts, playing bridge with her friends and cooking. She worked as a volunteer at the Paramount Arts Center and Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital while living in Kentucky. Linda was a beloved grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her children, Jennifer (Tom) Connell and Greg (Claudette) Metcalf; grandchildren, Ben and Joe Connell and Marcus Metcalf; sister, Kate Ransdell; and brother, Tom Lippert, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald.
