James "Jim" Edward Kutz

James Kutz, 71 of Lebanon, Indiana passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loving family on July 9, 2021.

Jim is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Barb (Kriedeman) Kutz.  Other survivors include their two children, Sean Kutz (Laura), Pahrump, NV and Corey Kutz (Ashley), Lebanon, IN; grandchildren, Alexandria (Diego) Garibay, Nicholas Kutz (Bailey), Jackson Kutz, Georgia Kutz, Sawyer Kutz, Dylan Bimrose (Rosalinda), Tyler Bimrose (Mary), Jackson Shepherd, and Grayson Shepherd; great-grandchildren,  Everly Garibay, Enzo Garibay, Liam Bimrose, Micah Bimrose and Alicia Bimrose; sister-in-law, Karen Kutz; brother-in-law, Ken Rohlinger; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Laverne and Georgia (McGowan) Kutz; brother, Thomas Kutz; brother-in-law, Roger Kriedeman; and sister-in-law, Diane Rohlinger.

Jim was born on September 8, 1949 in Fort Atkinson, WI.  He graduated from Fort Atkinson High School and the University of Wisconsin, Madison.  Jim loved listening to the Wisconsin band, where he was a former tuba player.  He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending his days at Golf Club of Indiana.   Jim and Barb enjoyed traveling the United States and were well on their way to having made it to all 50 states.

Jim was extremely loved and will be missed by many.  A celebration of life will be scheduled for August 29, 2021, 10:30 AM at Golf Club of Indiana, 6905 S. 525 E, Whitestown, IN 46075.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the B oone County Cancer Society in memory of James Edward Kutz.
