Harvey M. Kagan

A lifetime resident of Indianapolis and Carmel, Harvey Kagan passed away on April 24, 2023, at the age of 83.  He was born on January 6, 1940, to Samuel and Irene Kagan.

Harvey was a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington, including its School of Law and School of Business. He served in the Indiana State Attorney General’s Office and practiced law for many years in Indianapolis and Carmel.

He was a member of Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation, and is survived by his brother, Richard, of New York City, and a friend and advocate, Cindy Schembre of Prime Life Enrichment Carmel.

Graveside services will be on Friday, April 28, 2023 at in Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation North Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to IHC, IHCindy.org
