David Joe Miley

David Joe Miley,

73, of Indianapolis, passed away November 18, 2019.  He was born in Petersburg, Indiana on February 13, 1946 to Henry and Elizabeth Miley.  David was a graduate of Pike High School and was a corrections officer for many years.  He enjoyed fishing and his family was his pride and joy.

David is survived by his children, Jay (Liz) Miley, Jody D. Miley, Gail (Daryl) Aspery, and Roxanne (Mike) Reaume; grandchildren, Devin (Clint) Lloyd, David Miley, Abigail Miley, Caitlyn Miley, and Trevor Miley; two great-grandchildren, Oliver and Jameson Lloyd; and sisters, Martha Ann Arnold, Kay Willis, and Gail Aspery.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Dean Miley.

Funeral services will be held at A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 N. Michigan Rd., on Thursday, November 21st at 3 PM.  Visitation will be from 1 PM until the time of the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen.
