Charles "Chuck" Brandstetter

July 19, 1942 ~ August 21, 2021 (age 79)


Charles “Chuck” Brandstetter passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021, following a lengthy illness. Chuck was born July 19, 1942, to Ed and Laura Brandstetter in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Canton, Ohio in 1962 and received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in industrial engineering from The Ohio State University in 1968.

He worked for 28 years at Eli Lilly and Company before his retirement. He was an avid bowler, who had 15 300 games. Chuck loved traveling to Michigan’s UP. He was a marble collector, and a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Indiana Pacers.

He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 56 years, Diane. In addition, he is survived by a brother, Ed, of Moab, Utah; sister, Louise (Bill) Huff of Canton, Ohio; nieces, nephews and his best friend, Mike Adams.

Due to Covid restrictions and in line with Chuck’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
