Wayne Anthony Harris II was born on January 17, 1996. He was adopted immediately and loved by his parents, Kristian (Whitfield) and Wayne Harris. Anthony went to meet his Savior on October 15, 2022 at the age of 26, after a long and recurring battle with addiction.
Anthony graduated from Pike High School in 2014. He was an excellent student and exuberant basketball player. His finesse on the court often surprised the opposition.
In 2015, Anthony married his high school sweetheart, Christianna Wilhite. The couple had one daughter, Emory Victoria Harris, before separating in 2017. Emory was the love of Anthony’s life. Anthony also loved spending time with his son, Blake Allen. They bonded over cars, dinosaurs and educational kid shows on TV. Anthony’s greatest joy was being a father.
Anthony liked doing home renovation work. He replaced flooring, repaired dry wall, and painted his family home. Most recently, Anthony expressed his creativity as a tattoo artist and barber. He was a truly talented young man.
Anthony leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Emory Victoria Harris (7) and Blake Allen (3); parents, Kris and Wayne Harris; twin sister, Jamie Harris; siblings, Elyse Harris, Kathy Taylor, Jodeci Curry, Terrence Harris and Chris Curry, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Carmen Curry (Whitfield); nieces, Malia, Alonna and Aayilah; and countless extended family and friends.
Anthony was loved beyond belief and will be missed immeasurably.
