Vera Plotkin

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, doctor and friend passed away at the age of 95 on April 7, 2020.

Vera was born in Romlin, Russia to her parents, Ieshuy and Raisa.  Vera attended medical school in Leningrad, and there she survived the Siege of Leningrad during World War II.  In 1948 married Yefim Plotkin.  Together they raised their son Gennady.  The family moved to the United States in 1981.

Vera is survived by her son, Gennady and his wife Zoya, her grandson, Len and by her large circle of friends.
