Thomas Brown McNabb

Thomas Brown McNabb passed away December 19th in Indianapolis. Thom was born in Fort Wayne on October 5, 1934, the son of Paul and Carolyn B. McNabb. Thom was in the automobile and restaurant business all of his working life. He was finance manager with Jim Kelley Buick in the early 60's and then partner with Leonard Reisinger at Lenny's Auto Sales and later as partner with Lenny in Several Ponderosa restaurants, as owner and manager. He was a long time owner of Thom Brown Auto Sales on Clinton Street, Fort Wayne.
Thom attended Central High School and graduated from South Side High School where he was an outstanding athlete; he loved to fish and was a master fly fisherman and a lifelong fan of Indiana University football and basketball. He is survived by his daughters, Lorelie Rangel of Indianapolis, Michele McNabb of Arlington, Virginia and Molly McIvor of Calgary, Alberta Canada; brothers, Alan (Sara) of Bloomington and Guerry McNabb; sister, Cay (Allen) Hough; his beloved nine grandchildren; and his many favorite nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary, Indianapolis.
