Stan Ly passed away peacefully in his Indianapolis home on August 26, 2023 at the age of 70. He was born in Saigon, Vietnam to Khon and Kinh Ly on April 4, 1953. Stan earned his Master’s degree from Purdue University and worked as a biochemist at Eli Lilly until retirement.
Stan was an avid runner. He finished multiple marathons and even completed the Boston Marathon on its 100th anniversary.
His greatest love was for his family. He is survived by his wife, Amy Ly; their two children, Kevin Ly and Jenny Ly; his mother, three brothers, and three sisters.
