Spencer Lustig Kline was born March 5, 1960, in Youngstown, OH. Spencer majored in theater at Northwestern University and had a passion for musical theater and show tunes. He started his career at Marshall Fields where he met his wife, Amy, and spent many years working in the retail industry as a sales rep for Tommy Hilfiger before transitioning to real estate later in life. Spencer was a member of Phi Gamma Delta and served as the Fraternity’s social chair. A member of Congregation Beth-El Zedeck and involved with the men’s club, Spencer kept a full social circle and loved spending time with his many friends.
He is survived by his daughters, Haley (Ben) Schenone of Wrentham, Massachusetts, and Lindsay Kline of New York; his mother, Audrey Dann; brothers, David (Dani) Kline, Eddie (Katie) Kline, and Jeff Kline; nieces and nephews; and his partner, Dale Kiefer. His beloved wife, Amy Rosenberg Kline, and his father, Howard Kline, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at 11:00 am at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Funeral Home, 11411 N. Michigan Road. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.
