Shirley Anne Chenoweth

Shirley Anne Chenoweth departed this life on September 8, 2021 after a two-year battle with cancer.  She was born on January 13, 1945.  She was proceeded in death by her mother, Dorothy Keel Elmore; and is survived by sisters, Wilma Elmore (John) Justice and Brenda Elmore Findley.

Shirley’s life included many career paths.  In her early working life, she was a manager for Claude Shane Jewelers, a personnel director, an image and career consultant, a model, and Realtor.  While at Ludlow Realty, Indianapolis, as PR Director, she received “Outstanding Sales and Marketing Award” (1979-80).  Her growing interest in astrology led her to become a full-time professional astrologer and consultant.  She became nationally and internationally known as a teacher, lecturer and motivational speaker.  She was a reoccurring guest of local TV personality, Dick Wolfsie and at one time hosted “Life and Love through Stars” broadcast on cable television.  After receiving certification, she became an addiction counselor and life coach.

Shirley was known as a dynamic, intelligent and creative woman.  People who met her felt an immediate connection with her and never forgot her. She was a person of high-integrity and a speaker of truth.  She was a defender of abused women and children.  Shirley also loved and protected animals and re-homed many stray cats.

Shirley touched many hearts and lives all over the world.
