Sherry K. Fritchman,77, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026, in Cicero. Born on July 29, 1948, in Lehighton, Pennsylvania, Sherry's life was marked by her unwavering commitment to family and her adaptability in embracing various roles throughout her lifetime.
After graduating from Easton High School in Easton Pennsylvania, Sherry embarked on a path that placed her family at the center of her world. Raising her two sons was her greatest joy and accomplishment, a role she embraced with unconditional love and steadfast dedication. As her sons grew older, Sherry transitioned back into the workforce, where she brought her warmth and professionalism to each position she held. Her early career included working in hospital laboratories, where she contributed to the vital efforts of healthcare behind the scenes. Later, she served as a receptionist with Palm Harbor Homes model center, where her friendly demeanor and clerical skills were highly valued.
Sherry enjoyed playing her electric organ and painting throughout the years. She always had an artistic flare, working with canvas, ceramics, and home decor.
Sherry’s life was defined not only by her personal achievements but also by the deep connections she nurtured with those around her. She is survived by her loving husband, Henry S. Fritchman; her two sons, Joel (Yasemiun) Fritchman, and Steven (Tracy) Fritchman; grandchildren, Oliver and Kylie; sister, Dawn Campbell; nephew, Edward Campbell; niece, Heidi Campbell. Together, this close-knit family shared countless moments of joy and support, reflecting the strong bonds Sherry so carefully cultivated.
She is preceded in passing by her parents and brother Todd Harleman.
Her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew her. Sherry K. Fritchman will be remembered with respect and affection for her nurturing spirit, her dedication as a mother, and her ability to meet life's changes with grace and resilience.
