Saroj Surendra Parikshak, beloved daughter, mother, nanima (grandmother), and sister, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025, in Carmel, Indiana, at the age of 85, surrounded by her cherished loved ones. Sarojben was born on December 13, 1940, in Kampala, Uganda, and earned her high school academic certification from Old Kampala Secondary School. She immigrated to the US in 1975 along with her husband, the Late Surendrabhai Parikshak and her two young daughters - Kiran and Seema.
Married to the late Surendra D. Parikshak, Sarojben dedicated her life as a loving homemaker and a savvy businesswoman, fully participating in the family businesses. She made a warm and nurturing space for her family. She was the guiding light in their lives, instilling values and kindness that will endure as her legacy. Sarojben’s love knew no bounds, and her family and friends will forever treasure the shared moments, laughter, and wisdom she imparted.
She is survived by her daughters, Kiran Parikshak and Seema Parikshak Verma, along with her grandchildren: Vishalli, Sonalli, and Adam. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit, finding solace in the unconditional love she gave throughout their lives.
In addition to her immediate family, she is remembered by her brother, Prakash Bhojani, whose bond with Sarojben was a testament to their enduring connection.
Sarojben is preceded in death by her husband, Surendrabhai, and her beloved parents, Harjivanbhai and Kesherben Bhojani. She also had three brothers and six sisters who have passed, each leaving a profound impact on her life.
A prayer service to celebrate Sarojben’s remarkable life will be held at 2 PM on December 20, 2025, at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary, located at 11411 N Michigan Rd, Carmel, IN 46077.
As we mourn the loss of Sarojben, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the indelible mark she left on all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in our hearts.
