Sally Ruth (Greenberger) Klein

Sally Ruth Klein,

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away on November 12, 2023, in Indianapolis, at the age of 97.

Mrs. Klein was born on April 9, 1926, to Abram and Jeannette Greenberger in Scranton, Pennsylvania.  She was a graduate of Cornell University.

Mrs. Klein was an accomplished pianist and took great joy in her playing.  She was a life member of Hadassah and a longtime member of the Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Stephen) Mueller; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Klein Sprouse, six grandchildren, Leslie Mueller Fletcher, Jill Mueller Eickmann, Charles Mueller, Bobbi Klein, William “Mitchell” Klein, and Colleen Klein and four great grandchildren.

Mrs. Klein was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Arthur Klein in 2004 and her son, Alan Klein in 2000.

Graveside funeral services will be held in Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation North Cemetery on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 11:00 am.
