Ryan Ray Roesler, 46, of Indianapolis, formerly of Vincennes, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Vincennes, IN, on March 16, 1977, the son of the late Raymond Roesler and Ruth (Riley) Roesler.

Ryan was a 1995 graduate of North Knox High School and later went on to further his education at Indiana State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree. Ryan worked for the Internal Revenue Service for several years, and most recently worked in the Human Resources department at New Hope of Indiana.

Ryan was a loving, kind-hearted man with a great sense of humor and a personality that filled the room. He enjoyed afternoons at the pool with friends, decorating, hosting family and friends at their home, and being outside as much as possible on the patio.  Ryan also enjoyed cooking and adored his three cats, Toffee, Snickers, and Oscar. Ryan enjoyed listening to Yacht Rock Radio; however, his favorite was listening to The Cars.

He is survived by his partner, Phillip Eckert of Indianapolis; son, Carter Roesler of Marshall, IL; sister, Robin Roesler of Indianapolis;  brother, Rodney (Shauna) Roesler of Vincennes; 2 nephews: Kurtis Roesler (Cody Chambers) of Fortville and Clint (Megan) Roesler of Vincennes. He also has one great nephew and several cousins.

His parents and brother, Roger Roesler, preceded him in death.

Family and Friends are invited to visit with the family during a Celebration of Ryan’s Life that will be held at the College Park Clubhouse, 9001 Fordham Street, Indianapolis, IN 46268, on Ryan’s birthday, March 16, 2024, from 2 PM to 8 PM.
