Rosemary Brown

b. August 16, 1942

Indianapolis

Rosemary Brown was born on August 16, 1942 at Herman Keifer Hospital, in Detroit, Michigan to Charles Lacefield and Mary LaVerne Thomas. Rosemary graduated from Eastern High School. She continued her education at Detroit College of Business. She was the proud mother of two children, Julie Ann Chester and Richard F. Brown Jr. (deceased). Her love for family extended to her two grandchildren, Morgan Matoya Chester and Montechez Beau Chester, and her sister, Angela Thomas, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Rosemary loved music - everything from Bruno Mars to Luther Vandross. She had a big heart and a warm sense of humor. Rosie's unwavering love for family will be deeply missed. Her laughter and love will live on in the hearts of many.

God saw the road getting rough and the hill was hard to climb. He gently closed her loving eyes and whispered, "Peace be thine".

From Julie Chester:

To my beautiful mom and best friend,

You brought so much light, humor, and joy into this world. I will forever cherish all the great moments we were able to share together! There was never a dull moment with you, and your passion for life was contagious. You loved people, music, and just having a great time! You had an incredible personality that people loved! Even now that you're gone, the lessons you taught me and the laughter we shared continue to guide me. Thank you for being the most loving, supportive mother anyone could ever ask for. I hold you in my heart forever.

Forever my Love! Your daughter Julie!
