Rosa (Sosna) Shlit

Rosa Shlit, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend died on December 5, 2023, after a brief illness.

Rosa was born in Chirchik, Uzbekistan on January 31, 1947, to the late Alexander and Ida Sosna.  She was a graduate of technical college and worked as an administrator for an insurance company.  Rosa had many hobbies, enjoying knitting, cooking, and gardening. More than that, she loved helping others and shared a special bond with her grandson, Alec.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Michael; her son, Felix Shalit, and his wife Margarita; her grandson, Alec and her brother, Lev Tulkop and many extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 2:00pm in Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Funeral Home, 11411 N. Michigan Road. Burial will follow in Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation North Cemetery.
