Roger Foster

Roger Lawrence Foster,  passed away on September 2, 2023. Roger was born December 17, 1944 in Manchester England.

He attended Brownley Green Secondary School in Wythenshawe Manchester.  Roger left school at the age of 16 to begin working as a store man for a chemical company.  He moved to America at the age of 19, and settled in northwest Indiana in the early 1970s, eventually began working as a brick mason in the steel mills.  Roger relocated to Indianapolis IN 2000 until he retired in 2008, eventually moving to Rio Ranch for retirement.

Roger loved his Manchester City soccer teams over the years but would watch any soccer match on television that he could. After his retirement and move to Rio Rancho, he loved hiking, dancing, and volunteering at the Balloon Festival in Albuquerque New Mexico. He also loved watching all of his grandchildren’s activities and spending time with them every June when he would return to Indiana to visit.

He is survived by Roger Graham Foster, Corie Mark Wilcox (sons) and Brooke Foster (daughter in law), Roger Noel Foster, Elizabeth Ann Foster, Bennett Brooks Foster, Heather Rose Wilcox, Colin Foster Wilcox and Ian Joseph Wilcox (grandchildren), Socorra Lujan (partner) Donna Trujillo (guardian angel), Barry Foster (brother), Jean Shanahan (sister) and Stan Cade (brother).

Roger’s services will be private.
