Robert "Bob" K. Hacker Sr.
79, of Avon, passed away on April 28, 2017.
Bob served in the US Army with commendations and retired from the IFD and UPS. His most rewarding IFD position was with Squad 14. After retirement, Bob enjoyed taking his RV from coast to coast.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara A. Hacker (Bernitt); sons, Ronald L. Hacker and Michael S. (Kasey) Hacker; 8 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son, Robert K. Hacker Jr.
Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Survive Alive (Children's Education) c/o The Indianapolis Fire Dept. 748 Massachusetts Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46204.
