Rebecca Helen Goldberg,
65 of Hartford City passed away April 22, 2013. She was born on June 21, 1947 in Chicago, IL to Samuel and Sara Wexler. Rebecca briefly worked for AC Nielson in Chicago and Illinois Bell Telephone Company, but her real passion was working with her husband, Alan, at his company, Hartford Iron and Metal Inc.
She was a member of Beth-El Temple in Muncie, IN and its Sisterhood. Rebecca was also a long time volunteer at Ball Hospital.
Rebecca is survived by her loving husband, Alan; children, Scott (Kristin) Goldberg, David (Jenee) Goldberg, and Louis Goldberg; and grandson, Samuel Goldberg. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Goldberg, in 2004.
Graveside services were held at the Zion Gardens Cemetery in Chicago, IL on Tuesday, April 23rd at 2 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Blackford County Animal Shelter.
