In Loving Memory of Priti Jani (1955–2025)
Born in 1955 in Mumbai, India, Priti —affectionately known as "Nini" to her side of the family—was the third of six siblings. She grew up surrounded by the love of her two sisters, Hina and Malti, and her three brothers, Ashok, Pradip, and Rakesh.
Priti completed her schooling and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Bhavnagar University. Following graduation, she began a lifelong career with Indian Post, where she worked with dedication and pride until her retirement in 2015.
In 1982, Priti married her beloved husband, Kirit Jani, and together they built a warm and loving home in Ahmedabad. They were blessed with two sons, Bhavin and Harsh, whom Priti nurtured with unwavering love and encouragement. She took immense pride in guiding her children toward their aspirations, always championing their dreams. In particular, she inspired Bhavin to aim high, wholeheartedly supporting his decision to pursue higher education in the United States.
Priti gracefully stepped into her role as a cherished daughter-in-law within the Jani family. Her gentle spirit and caring nature forged a close and affectionate bond with her mother-in-law, one rooted in mutual respect and love. Priti also shared a special connection with her brothers-in-law, Kishor and Dipak, and their wives, Shobhana and Seema.
As the oldest aunt, Priti treasured her relationship with Amit, Akash and Parv, watching over them with love and affection. She was known for her vibrant spirit—fun-loving, energetic, and always in motion. Priti was the heart of every gathering, the one who brought warmth, laughter, and unity to family celebrations.
Priti welcomed her daughter-in-law, Kinjal, with open arms and cherished the new relationship with deep love and care. Her nurturing heart created a home where everyone felt embraced and valued. Recently, Priti stepped into the role of grandmother with immense joy, spending precious time with her granddaughter, Shanaya, and embracing every moment of this new chapter.
Priti’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched through her kindness, her exuberant personality, and the deep love she had for her family. Her memory will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew her.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th, 2025 at 11:00 AM, with visitation followed by rituals and cremation, at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Funeral Home, 11411 N. Michigan Rd., Zionsville, IN 46077.
