Philip Tran,

81, of Indianapolis, passed away March 03, 2023. He was born on April 19, 1941, in Saigon, Vietnam to his parents Ngo Van Tran and Thang Thi Nguyen.

He was a hardworking and dedicated worker of the Harlan Bakeries, where he worked for 19 years.

In addition to his work, Philip was an active member of the An Lac Temple, where he was a devoted Buddhist. He found solace and strength in his faith, and he will be remembered by his community as a kind and compassionate member.

His greatest joy was his family. Philip is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Chau Quang; their four children, Loc Tran, Ninh Tran, Alex Tran, and Lynn Tran; and 13 grandchildren.

In lieu of memorial flowers, the family requests that any donations be made in his name to the An Lac Temple , to continue his legacy of giving and devotion.

Funeral services will be held at A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 N. Michigan Rd., on Monday , March 06 at 8AM. Friends are welcome to visit from 9AM until the end of the service.
