Paul Kenneth Nunn, aged 76, passed away on April 23, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Born on September 10, 1948, in Evansville, Indiana, Paul led a life characterized by loyalty, hard work, tenacity, and a commitment to God and family.


Paul earned his high school diploma and was drafted to fight in the Vietnam War in 1969. As an Artilleryman with Americal Division, he delivered surface fires to American forces in Chu Lai and Tien Phuc. On the 4th of July, 1969, munitions on Paul's howitzer detonated, injuring Paul and members of his Battery.


After the war, Paul fought addiction, setbacks and challenges. He never stopped fighting, always getting back up and doing the next right thing. He went on to establish a successful career as the owner of "Nunn's Handyman Home Repair." His skill, work ethic and problem-solving nature allowed him to help countless clients and fulfill God's will through service to others.


He leaves behind his beloved wife, Terrill Nunn, his son, Casey (Laura) Nunn, step-daughter, Heidi Hyndman (David), step-son, Bill Herzler (Lori). Paul is also survived by his siblings, David (Gale) Nunn and Gayle Nunn, who cherished their baby brother.


Paul was a proud grandfather to Freya Nunn, Emma Herzler, Nicholas Hyndman, Natalie Holder, Brooke Hyndman, Bethany Ford. His legacy will live on through the lives of his grandchildren, who were a source of immense joy and pride for him.


He was preceded in death by his parents, James Franklin Nunn and Margaret Katherine Bennett Nunn, and his brother, Jay Nunn. Their memories played a significant role in shaping the man Paul became.


Paul's primary memorial service will be held in Newburgh, IN on Sunday, 05OCT25 from 12:00-3:00 PM (CST). A second memorial service will be held with military honors at the V.F.W., 206 S. Main St., Fortville, IN, on Friday, 03OCT25 from 3:00-5:00 PM (EST). Family and friends may RSVP for either service at CNone07@aol.com and 812-457-6520.


As family and friends gather to celebrate Paul Kenneth Nunn's life, they do so with a profound sense of loss yet immense gratitude for the love, memories and hope he imparted for what comes after this life.
