Patrick Grant Skaggs

Patrick Grant Skaggs passed away peacefully in Aruba on June 1, 2025, at the age of 77. He was born on November 21, 1947, in Louisville, KY to the late Sherley and Helen Skaggs.

Patrick worked as an accountant for 38 years for the Department of Defense. He spent much of his time traveling and found joy in trips, both near and far.

Patrick is remembered as a loving and caring partner to his husband, Robert Bruce Heflin. He is preceded in passing by his parents.

He was a member at St. Lukes United Methodist, where services will be held on Sunday, June 22nd at 2PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke’s Making Room Fund.

Patrick's legacy lives on through the memories of laughter and joy that he shared with friends and family. His gentle spirit and enthusiastic approach to life will be deeply missed, yet his impact on those who knew him will remain an enduring testament to a life devoted to love and friendship.
