Pacita Campos

Pacita Campos, beloved mother, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was 92 years old.

Born on April 6, 1934, in San Salvador, El Salvador, Pacita’s life was a testament to resilience, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her journey from her birthplace in San Salvador to Indianapolis was shaped by love and courage. Throughout her remarkable life, Pacita embraced every moment, always placing her loved ones at the forefront of her heart.

Pacita is survived by her loving children,  Ana Vilma (Oscar) Campos, Silvia Aracely (Manuel) Alvarez, Joaquin Ernesto (Carolina) Campos and Rene Mauricio (Sandra) Campos; cherished grandchildren, Marcela (Jake), Adriana (Manuel), Claudia (Neftali), Elsie (George), Manuel (Margot), Fatima (Kris), Joaquin (Annika), Jose, Maria, Renee (Derek), and Roberto (Abbey); and 18 beloved great-grandchildren, Azriel, Daniella, Jaden, Ethan, Stevan, Austin, Uriah, Alessandra, Daniel, Josiah, Isabel, Mackenzie, Mila, Juliette, Grant, Mateo, Camile and Asher. Her legacy continues through them—her values, her warmth, and the lasting impact she made in each of their lives.

Those who knew Pacita remember her gentle spirit and her boundless kindness. Her family will carry forward her memories, holding them close as they reflect on her enduring influence and the love she so freely gave.

A funeral service to honor Pacita will be held on August 11, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary, located at 11411 N Michigan Rd, Carmel, IN 46077. Family and friends are welcome to visit from 11:00 am until the time of the service.

Pacita Campos’ life was defined by grace and generosity. She leaves behind a legacy of family, unity, and love that will never be forgotten. May her memory be a comfort and a blessing to all who knew her.
