Norman Anema

April 9, 1932 — May 4, 2025

Norman Anema, a resident of West Point, Utah and a revered figure in his community, departed this life on May 4, 2025. Born on April 9, 1932, in Liberty, UT, Norman was a man of principle and integrity who lived his 93 years with a devotion to service and a love for his family. His character was shaped by the values of hard work and determination, learned from his parents Folkert (Frank) Theo and Opal Lucille Hill Anema.

Norman's dedication to his country was prominent, having served in the United States Air Force. This commitment extended to his career, where he worked as a Contract Writer at Hill Air Force Base (HAFB). His accomplished career at HAFB culminated in a well-earned retirement. The lessons he learned and the relationships he built during his time of service remained with him throughout his life.

Norman's love story with his beloved wife, Carol Anema, began on June 12, 1970, and flourished for over five decades.

Norman is survived by his wife, Carol Anema; his children, Curtis Anema, Greg Anema, Norlyn Nelson, and Jared (Ashlee) Anema; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Folkert and Opal Anema; his siblings; and one grandchild.

We invite all who knew and loved Norman to leave memories and upload photos to his memorial page. Your tributes will serve as a lasting testament to a life lived with purpose, grace, and love.
