Nelly Kagan,
72 of Indianapolis, passed away May 21, 2015. She was born in Siberia to Arkady and Leah Kagan on September 15, 1942. After graduating as a Registered Nurse from the Medical College of Kishinev, Nelly worked as a surgical nurse throughout the Soviet Union in military hospitals. She attended Congregation Beth-El Zedeck.
Nelly is survived by her sons, Vadim (Irina) Averbukh and Max (Jane Charney) Averbukh; grandchildren, Ron and Yayel Averbukh and Lina and Natan Averbukh; sister, Svetlana (David) Weinstock; and sister-in-law, Rakhel Averbukh.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 24th at Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary, 11411 N. Michigan Rd., at 1 PM. Burial will follow in Congregation Beth-El Zedeck North Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
