Mikhail Malyovanny, 77, an Indianapolis resident, passed away suddenly on January 28, 2026.

Mikhail was born on August 4, 1948, in Odessa, Ukraine, to the late Iosif Malyovanny and Rakhil Grinshpun. Mikhail was a maintenance technician.

He was a proud member of the Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation. He loved to fish, especially at Eagle Creek State Park. He was a competitive table tennis player, traveling across the country and winning many matches. Mikhail had a curious mind and followed the local and national news.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jane Malyovanny; his son, Alex (Victoria) Malyovanny; his daughter, Galina (Lali) Parikh; and his grandchildren, Nelli Malyovanny, Fedor Malyovanny, Lev Malyovanny, Mylo Parikh, and Arlo Parikh.

Funeral services will be held at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Funeral Home, 11411 N. Michigan Road, on Sunday at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in the Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation North Cemetery.
