Michael Patrick Ogg

Michael "Mike" Patrick Ogg, passed away suddenly on October 18, 2026. He was born on March 2, 1965, in Alexandria, Virginia, to Luther Leon Ogg and Margaret Woodard Ogg.

Mike graduated from Illinois State University. His first love was his first car: a 1964 1/2 blue Mustang. He still lovingly cared for and worked on it in his spare time.

Mike was retired, but was proud of his career accomplishments. He had last worked at Skjodt-Barrett Contract Manufacturing as an Occupational Safety Manager.

The true lights of his life was his family. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Straub; his sons, Andrew (Kristen), Nathan, and Matthew Ogg; his brother, Steve Ogg; and his granddaughter, Lourdes Ogg. His parents preceded him in death.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Funeral Home, 11411 N. Michigan Road, with remarks beginning at 6:00 pm. The family invites friends to share a memory of Mike.
