Melissa Jo (Collier) Neal

Melissa Jo Neal, 65, of Mooresville, passed away on October 29, 2022. She was born on March 23, 1957, in Indianapolis to Bobby and Elizabeth Collier and was a graduate of Danville High School.

Melissa found happiness in simple things and dedicated her life to her family. She enjoyed fishing, being outside and traveling. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and her soulmate, Leon, whom she wed September 29, 2004.

She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Collier; children, Kyle (Tonya) Collier, Sr.; Kathy (William) Cooley, Nichole (Andre) Spencer, Heather (Michael) Melton, and Ashly Neal; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Rodney Collier and Clifton (Adrienne) Collier.

Melissa was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Collier; beloved husband, Walter “Leon” Neal; and brother, Randy Collier.

Viewing will be held at Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary, 11411 North Michigan Road, on Saturday, November 5th from 5 - 6 PM.
