Mary Jean Romerill,
84, of Indianapolis, passed away April 6, 2017. She was born to Bert and Phyllis (nee Houston) Hiland in Bloomington, IN on September 16, 1932. A graduate of Thomas Carr Howe High School in Indianapolis, Mary worked at General Electric in Indianapolis, the Taft law firm in Cincinnati, and Indiana University Medical Center Student Union. She retired as a secretary from the Veterans Health Administration, having worked at both the Roudebush and Cold Spring Road campuses.
She is survived by her children: Harold Romerill, David Romerill and Susan (James) Parker and their families, as well as her brothers John Hiland of California and James Hiland of Georgia.
