 Born March 22, 1934, in Indianapolis, he was preceded in death by his parents, William Silbermann and Esther Feldman Silbermann. Also preceding him in death was his first wife, Lynne Regenstreif Silberman, and sister, Phyllis Silbermann Collins (Larry). Surviving is his wife, Winifred Goldblatt. Other survivors are children Andrew Silbermann, Amy Silberman Isaacs (Dwayne), Joseph Silberman, stepdaughters Lauren Iannarone and Jennifer Van Allen (Peter), six grandchildren, Eli Isaacs (Stacy), Lexie Leightner (David), Seth Isaacs, Jacob Silbermann (Gina), Zach Silbermann, and Noah Van Allen, and five great-grandchildren.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis, Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation, or the charity of your choice.

 Funeral services will be held at Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation, 6501 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46260,  at 11:00 am on Friday, March 1, 2024.  For those unable to attend in person, the funeral will be live-streamed on the IHC website (www.ihcindy.org).  Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
