Marilyn J. Robson, a treasured soul and cherished member of her family, passed away peacefully at home in Beech Grove, Indiana, on August 6, 2025. She graced the world with her presence on July 20, 1933, in Indianapolis, Indiana, where her journey began.
Marilyn's life was one woven with love, dedication, and a remarkable ability to connect with those around her. She embarked on a fulfilling career as an accounting clerk for RCA Records, a role that not only showcased her talents but also her meticulous nature and passion for numbers. After her retirement she followed her love and passion for the arts. Her paintings and drawings covered a wide range of landscapes, portraits, and abstract art using a variety of styles in oil, pastels, and pen & ink among others.
Her warmth and kindness extended far beyond her professional life. As the beloved mother of Michael, Joseph, and Barbara, she nurtured and supported her children with an unwavering love that has left a profound impact on their lives. Marilyn's legacy is carried on through them, who remember her as a guiding light and an embodiment of strength.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her oldest son Michael, and parents William and Edna Rouse, whose own enduring love and values undoubtedly shaped the remarkable person she became. Marilyn is survived by son Joe (Beth), daughter Barbara Snow (Dennis) and grandchildren Brittany, Josh & Jessica. While she has left this earthly realm, her spirit and the memories of her gentle heart will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
As we remember Marilyn J. Robson, let us celebrate a life well-lived, filled with warmth, generosity, and a profound capacity for love. She will be greatly missed but lovingly remembered, always shining bright in the memories of her family and friends.
