Marcia "Mit" Caldwell

Marcia "Mit" L. Caldwell,
age 75, of Cadillac died October 24, 2011. She graduated from Jackson High School in 1953 and lived in Lowell, Michigan from 1968 to 1992.
She is survived by her sons, Tom (Carolyn) Caldwell of Fishers, Indiana, and Greg (Anna) Caldwell of California; six grandchildren; and sisters, Judy (Mike) Watkins of Denton, Texas, and Barbara Ervin of Mason, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leland and Ruth Matthews of Holt, Michigan; brother, Greg (Jan) Matthews of Vicksburg, Michigan; and by her husband of 56 years, Keith Caldwell.
Mit worked for Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan when she was first married, and while living in Lowell, Michigan she worked for Root-Lowell Manufacturing and Michigan Wire Processing.
She taught ceramic artwork and ran her own ceramic art studio from her home in Lowell. Mit was an avid golfer and had 4 holes-in-one. She loved embroidery and planted and enjoyed flower gardens wherever she lived.
Cremation has occurred. A memorial service in honor of Mit will be held at a later date.
