She was rewarded for her years of exemplary service with the Outstanding Teacher Award as voted by her peers in Boone County.

Lois enjoyed reading and collecting antique toys, children’s books, glassware, and cookbooks.  She loved watching old movies and had a soft spot in her heart for rescuing West Highland White Terriers.

Lois is survived by her mother ; daughter, Mary Thomas; grandsons, Jacob and Jonathan; sister, Jane Grimes (husband, Bruce); and nephews, Drew and Bryan. Her son, William K. Saint III, preceded her in death by two weeks.
