Lenora Burgauer,
96, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, passed away January 20, 2019. She was born in Evansville, IN to Abe and Eva Cohn on September 25, 1922. Lenora was a graduate of Manual High School. She was a member of Congregation Beth-El Zedeck and its Sisterhood, the Hooverwood Guild and Hadassah.
Lenora is survived by her children, Elaine (Frank) Safrin and Stephen (Barbara) Burgauer; grandchildren, Susan (David) Silver, Jeffrey (Grace) Safrin, Ronald (Jane) Safrin, Tyler Burgauer, and Megan Black; and five great-grandchildren, Jordan, Chad and Tori Silver; and Evan and Haley Safrin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Burgauer; and siblings, Francis Goldman, Esther Fink, Helen Cowen and David Cohn.
The family gives a special thanks to her aid, Patricia de la Torre. who took good care of her and was a true member of our family.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, January 23rd at 1 PM in Congregation Beth-El Zedeck North Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Congregation Beth-El Zedeck or the donor's favorite charity.
