Larry Joe Ferguson,
77 of Jamestown, IN passed away at Zionsville Meadows on September 2, 2014. He was a resident of Boone County. Larry was born on June 23, 1937 to the late Roy and Mary Jane (Hardesty) Ferguson.
He was a member of Mechanicsburg Christian Church. Larry served fourteen years in the Army National Guard of Indiana as Sergeant. He liked to stay active and worked several different places including 14 years at Aqua Systems in Avon, IN. He retired from Lebanon Wastewater. After retiring, Larry worked at Big R and delivered newspapers for the Lebanon Reporter, in addition to a number of other jobs. He also enjoyed being outside, farming and mowing.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma Johnson Ferguson; children, Duane (Linda) Ferguson, Darlene Ferguson, Tammy (Bill) Demaree, Regina Harris, and Kevin (Shannon) Ferguson; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Donna (Gerald) Newman; aunt, Ruby Buck; brother-in-laws, Donald (Martha) Johnson and Eugene (Rosella) Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Lebanon Church of God, 726 N. Henry St., Lebanon, IN on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 5 PM. Friends may gather at the church from 2 PM until the time of the service. Memorial contributions in honor of Larry may be made to A.L. Association or Love, Inc of Lebanon, IN.
