Kittye J. Sterrett,
79 of Indianapolis, passed away January 23, 2018. She was born in Bowling Green, Kentucky to Jake and Vera Bruton on June 19, 1938. Kittye had a cosmetology degree and spent many years caring for her family.
She is survived by her husband, Russell Sterrett; children, Kathryn Harding and Pamela Harding; step-children, Scott (Marla) Sterrett, Anita (Wayne) Hoskins, John Sterrett and Dawn (David) Hastings; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Reba (Robert) Jump. Kittye was preceded in death by her parents and brother, J.B. Bruton and sister-in-law, Betty Bruton.
Services are pending. Inurnment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to United Way or a charity of the donor's choice.
