Kishor Kumar Kakaiya

Kishor Kumar Kakaiya, of Indianapolis, IN, just 59 years old, died unexpectedly on January 25, 2022. The family is deeply saddened by his sudden passing. He was born on September 22, 1962 in Kaloleni, Kenya. He grew up in Kenya and England . Soon after his marriage to Bhavana, they settled in Indianapolis.

Kishor was a simple man who was a model of peace and love for everyone. Anyone who knew him could not help but be affected by being in the presence of a man who knew no hate, greed, envy, jealousy, frustration, anger, etc. He was a man who was completely at peace in his soul and in the world around him. He was someone that all of us, in some way, wish we could be.

He is survived by his wife, Bhavana Kakaiya and his younger brother, Harish Kakaiya, as well as his extended family and abundance of friends. We will miss him more than words can say.  Services for Kishor will be held at Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary on January 29, 2022 with prayers beginning at 2pm and visitation from 3pm until 4:30pm for any friends that would like to come give their condolences.  The cremation ceremony will be held privately with only immediate family members after the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, the wife has asked that a donation be made in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Helping children was something that was very important to him.
