Judith Sugarman Perk,
77, longtime resident of Carmel, Indiana died June 14, 2017. She was born in Covington, KY to Benjamin and Margaret Sugarman on January 10, 1940. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Judy never met a stranger. She shared her love of music with her many piano students and her love of animals was legendary. Judith was a member of Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Deremiah of Carmel, IN; son, Mark Brian Jacobs of Bosman, Montana; grandchildren, Conrad, Ben, Charlotte and Aaron Jacobs, and Emily and Stephanie Deremiah; great-grandchildren, Ansley and Nora; and brother, Don (Dorothy) Sugarman of Bonita Springs, FL.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Perk.
A funeral service will be held at A.R.N. Funeral & Cremation Services, 11411 N. Michigan Rd., on Tuesday, June 20th at 4 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Indianapolis Humane Society.
