Judith (Spirer) Pattinger

Judith Pattinger, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023.  Judith was born in Rockaway (Queens) New York, and lived there until 1977.  She was a 1962 graduate of Far Rockaway High School, and attended Queens College before marrying her devoted husband Edward and starting a family.  Ed and Judy moved to Indiana permanently in 2019 to be close to their daughter, Marcy and grandson, Ethan.  Judy worked for the Carmel Clay School System for 24 years in the Food Services department, she loved seeing the children's smiling faces and made many life-long friends.

Judith was a member of Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation, and IHC Sisterhood.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Edward; children, Marcy and David, her grandson, Ethan and sisters, Merle Fisch of Israel and Ellen Pollenberg of New Jersey.

Funeral services will be held in Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 2:00 PM, burial will follow in IHC North Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation.
