After a life abundant in dedication and simple virtues, Joitabhai departed this world peacefully on the fifth of June, 2026, in his treasured home in Sheridan, Indiana, embraced tenderly by the loving presence of his family.

Born as a son to Mangaldas Mohandas Patel and Kashiben Mangaldas Patel, Joitabhai’s early years were shaped by the values and traditions nurtured by his parents. He was a man devoted to the land, a farmer whose hands were skilled and steadfast, nurturing not only the earth but the bonds of kinship and community around him.

His life's tapestry is interwoven with the memory of his beloved wife, Kamuben Joitabhai Patel, whose spirit continues to be a silent and enduring companion to his own. Together, they forged a partnership marked by unwavering support and love, leaving behind a legacy that will resonate within the hearts of those who knew them.

Joitabhai’s lineage is lovingly continued through his son, Mahendrakumar Patel, and his grandson, Suchit Patel, both of whom carry forward his name and the values he so deeply embodied. Services will be on Sunday, June 7, 2026, in Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Funeral Home, 11411 N. Michigan Road, Zionsville, IN 46077, at 9:00 am.  The funeral will be live-streamed for those unable to attend in person.
