Jo Ann (Tunnah) Sutterfield

Jo Ann Sutterfield,

82, of Indianapolis, passed away December 18, 2021.  She was born in Indianapolis to the late Philip and Garnett Tunnah on September 12, 1939.  Jo Ann spent over 30 years as an administrative assistant in the Defense Finance and Accounting Division for the United States Government.  She was a member of Eastside Church of Christ.

Jo Ann will be remembered as a devoted grandmother and great grandmother, who loved to laugh and joke with family and friends.  Jo Ann had varied interests.  Her grandson, Andrew, remembers fondly many trips to the American Cabaret Theatre and yearly participation in the Mini-Marathon.

She is survived by her grandsons, Andrew (Heather) Sutterfield, Joseph Marion II, Aiden Sutterfield, and Ethan Marion; and nephew, Christopher (LeAnn) Tunnah.  Jo Ann was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhoda Marion; and brothers, Charles and Phil Tunnah.

Services will be held privately.
