Jerry Leon Burgess

A beloved husband, father, stepfather, brother, uncle, and friend died on June 11, 2024.  He was a lifelong resident of Indiana.  Jerry was born to Roy and Dorothy Burgess on May 18, 1948, in Princeton, Indiana.  He proudly serviced the United States as a member of the US Navy.

Jerry was a talented landscape designer and gardener.  He was highly gifted and created beautiful landscapes.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Connie; his son, Kent Kester; his stepchildren, Wesley Crouch, Alayna Brewer, and Lydia Brown; nine grandchildren; sisters, Marcia  (Gale) Coffey, Sherry (Paul) Littrell; and brother, Barry (Marilyn) Burgess.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother and brother, Gary.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 29th.
