Jeffery Dwayne Stewart

Jeffery Dwayne Stewart, a cherished son, husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on July 27, 2026.

Jeff was born in Indianapolis on July 17, 1969, to Carl Robert Stewart and Anna Kersey Stewart. He graduated from Pike High School in 1987.

A devoted family man, Jeff spent his life putting others before himself and treasured his friendships. He loved sports, especially cheering on the Cincinnati Reds, Indianapolis Colts, and DePauw football team. Jeff also enjoyed working on and riding in his treasured 1978 Indy 500 Pace Car. He was a dedicated employee of FedEx Freight for more than 25 years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Stacy Lawrence Stewart; children, Samantha (Joe Weddle) Howard, Dylan Stewart, and Brock Stewart; parents, Carl and Anna Stewart; sister, Shannon (Paul) Dice; brothers-in-law, Steve (April) Lawrence and Paul Lawrence; and many nieces and nephews.

Jeff was preceded in death by his siblings, Autumn Smith and Rob Stewart, and his sister-in-law, Denise Lawrence.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Funeral Home, 11411 N. Michigan Road. The funeral will begin at 12:30 PM, followed by burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, 9350 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229.
