Isaac Asahi Timmons

October 9, 2018 — April 24, 2024

Fishers

Isaac Asahi Timmons passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on April 24, 2024.  Born to parents Joshua W. Timmons and Hanae Nagai of Fishers, Indiana, on October 9, 2018, Isaac was the light of their lives.

Isaac was an everlasting burst of life and energy and loved running around and jumping and climbing all over the house.  Although mischievous at times, he was also very sweet, kind, and funny, and brought joy to everyone he encountered.  Isaac never knew a stranger.  He loved helping people, would hold doors for others, and would wave and cry "hello" to anyone he passed.  Isaac loved to share candy, sing "Happy Birthday," and give people flowers.

He loved cuddling and doing airplanes and playing monsters with Mommy and wrestling and singing and dancing with Daddy.

Isaac enjoyed many hobbies in his short life.  He went to swim lessons, Ninja Zone classes, and practiced Taekwando.   He played soccer and was looking forward to starting baseball this spring.   He loved Star Wars, Lego, and playing video games, especially anything Super Mario Brothers.  Isaac loved animals, especially dogs and sea creatures, and was curious about geography and other cultures.  He also enjoyed watching movies and reading books.

Isaac loved music and would request his special music mix at every opportunity.  He was planning to start breakdancing classes in May.  He loved Halloween and dressing up in costume with his family.

He enjoyed traveling. Isaac was fortunate to go to Japan several times to visit family and friends and play with his cousins.  He had fantastic adventures at Disney World, Legoland, and Super Mario World at Universal Studios Japan, and he had the most amazing time at Great Wolf Lodge just days before his passing.

Isaac loved hiking and going to various parks and playgrounds.  He also enjoyed going on adventures around the neighborhood with his Big Wheel and collecting rocks, acorns, and flowers.  He was looking forward to going camping and learning how to ride a bike this summer.

Along with his parents, Isaac is survived by his grandfather Terrill H. Timmons of Lafayette (step-grandmother Sally); grandmother Linda R. Timmons of Indianapolis; grandparents Kazuhiro and Kayo Nagai of Nagoya, Japan; aunt Dr. Amy Hayes of Fortville (cousins Emma and Maya); aunt Erin Timmons of Logansport; aunt Aki Shiraki (Kyosuke and cousins Tomotaka and Fumiyaki) of Nagoya, Japan; uncle Keiichi Nagai (Aiko and cousins Yuuto and Ryo) of Nagoya, Japan; and his extended family and several cousins residing throughout Indiana, Virginia, and Nagoya, Japan.

A Celebration of Life will be held next Saturday, May 4th, at Aaron - Ruben - Nelson Mortuary located at 11411 N. Michigan Rd., Zionsville, IN.  The public ceremony will start at 6pm with visitation from 3pm to 6pm.  As May 4th is also "Star Wars Day" and Isaac loved Star Wars, all children attending are encouraged to please wear Star Wars costumes or apparel if they wish.  Isaac would love it!

A livestream of the service will be available for those who cannot attend in-person.

At the time of his passing, Isaac was enrolled in Pre-K at Community Montessori School in Fishers, Indiana, where he was developing an inquisitive mind and a joy of learning.  In lieu of flowers, a scholarship is being created in his memory to assist other families with tuition.  If you wish, you can make a donation to the Isaac Asahi Timmons Memorial Scholarship Fund using this link:  https://gofund.me/14957c6c
