Igor Dess

Igor Dess, a dedicated truck driver and beloved family man, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2026, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Born on July 10, 1957, in Moscow, Russia, Igor's journey through life was marked by resilience, hard work, and love for his family.

Igor was a hard worker.  He was a transportation specialist for a day school in New York, contributing to both his family and the communities he served. His commitment to his work exemplified dedication and integrity, traits he instilled in those around him.

He leaves behind his cherished wife, Galyna Siegur, and his loving daughter, Yana Dess. Igor's family was the cornerstone of his existence, and he often expressed deep pride in their accomplishments and happiness. He was a devoted husband, son, and father, offering unwavering support and encouragement to his loved ones. He was preceded in death by his father, Benzion Dess, his mother, Maria Dess, and his brother, Leonid Dess.

Igor was preceded in death by his parents, Benzion Dess and Maria Dess, who were instrumental in shaping the person he became. Their legacy of strength and compassion was evident in Igor's character.

As we remember Igor Dess, we celebrate a life well-lived filled with love, hard work, and devotion to family. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the graveside service on February 26, 2026, at 12:30 PM at Beth El Zedeck North Cemetery in Fishers, Indiana.
